Tractor
Kubota B7610
I left work early to meet them when they delivered my new B7610 with 60"MMM and LA352 FEL. I was excited, thinking I would have some extra time to play, I mean use the tractor for important work. When I got home it was raining. I only got to drive it into the garage. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I was left to spend the night going through the manuals. I didn't get a manual for the MMM so I am going to have to see about that. I hope there is something that tells how to adjust and service it. Maybe tomorrow I will get a chance to do some important work with my new tractor. Any B7610 owners with any advice to share on getting everything adjusted, breaking it in, etc. would be welcome.

Congrats on the new machine. Take it slow and easy, but enjoy and be safe. And DON'T let the wife see you smiling!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif It's supposed to be work.

This seems a common occurence. Congratulations on your new machine.

Don't forget the deck and loader can drop with the tractor off. GET the deck manual off that dealer - There is one and you NEED it!
Perhaps you've owned tractors all your life, perhaps not. I had not when IO got my first one, so the best advice I could have gotten was BE CAREFULL. This is a machine that can kill you (or do alot of great work if you play your cards right).

I'd love a 7610, I'm jealose! Congrats!

I have had my B7610 for almost a month now. I am loving it more each time I use it. I have gotten so much done that I would have never tackled without the tractor. Just take it easy at first, for the tractor and you. Trying to do too much right out of the box can be harmful to you and or your tractor. Take it easy and get to know your machine...what it can and can't do... You will be glad you took the time. Enjoy your new tractor... I know I am enjoying mine.

So how much Seat Time did you end getting while you were in the garage reading those manuals? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

im with DGM...the more i use mine, the more i like it.

did you get anything to get some weight in the rear? i have filled rear tires and have my 60" landpride box scraper off the back when using the loader and it makes a huge difference.

1 time i didnt have the scraper on the back and even with the tires filled it is easy to get the back off the ground.

if you dont have any weight back there, you will want some.

so i assume you slept in the garage last night? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Definately agree with WJiC... I keep my 48" box blade on the rear of my tractor. I have been using the loader a lot, and the extra weight is a plus.

Thanks for the warnings. I already had a 48" box blade that I plan to use with the tractor. I have spent a lot of time on tractors. I grew up on a farm and started driving them regularly when I was only 8 or 9 years old. But, I have not used a FEL for a long time. So the safety warnings are still useful. I don't think you can be too careful using a tractor and a loader. I am going to my dealer to check on a manual for the MMM today! It is not raining today either, so I may get some important tractor work done yet!

If you are the mechanically inclined type, I highly recommend getting the Workshop Manual from Kubota for your 7610. I purchased one for my B2400 for approx $75 and it payed for itself on the only repair I've had to perform. Mine also has a complete section for the mower decks included. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
