The 3 point spped control knob on my B7800 seems to locked. I can't get it to turn in either direction. The manual doesn't indicate how to unlock it. Does anyone know how to get it to release?

"Righty tighty, lefty loosey!!!!"

LOL. I do have to repeat this to myself on occasion.

Before I used to pliers to persuade the knob to turn, I wanted to make sure it"s not locked somehow.

I had to use pliers on my tractor... to get it loose.

Happened on my B7800.
If you don't use it regularly, it will rust tight. Spray it with some penetrating oil, then use some vise grips to get a good grip on it and turn it. After you free it up, turn it on a regular basis to keep it freed up.

The knob on my B7800 has arrows on it. Facing the knob counterclockwise is "Open". "Open" means implement lowers faster. Clockwise is "Closed". "Closed" means the implement lowers slower. If the knob is turned clockwise all the way the implement won't lower at all.
