2003 Kubota B7800 (new to me @ 435 hours
I finally got around to solving the frozen FEL control issue, thanks to many on this forum.

Indeed there was water in the 2 cylinders that house the springs for the FEL down and FEL Curl In functions. Everytime it was below freezing I had to play with the controls and wait 10 minutes or so for the ice to melt so I could operate the FEL.

I took the cylinders off, cleaned them and the spring assemblies, put grease into the cylinder and on the spring, and reassembled. They work great now (actually better than the other functions so may have to try to access the other set of control springs this spring).

I contemplated drilling a small hole in each as suggested, but held off on that for now. I will take them off again in the fall, and if more water has accumulated I will drill a small hole in each.
