Hi All,

Took delivery yesterday. Delivery was right on time and setup training was very helpful. Still haven't tried taking off the FEL or RDM myself, but in my mind it seems easy. Mowed my yard in record time and was able to get in the tight spots by lifting the mower, backing in then putting it down and pulling out - worked great. Played around a little with the FEL and toothbar by assaulting some trees I want to clear. Went for the roots (5" trees, 20 feet high) and almost popped it out after a few minutes. WIll go back next time when I am more serious. Used the bucket to get some crush on the driveway. In fact my 13 year old daughter did it. I gave her the basics and she took over - did a great job. I can't wait to do some more. What a time saver. What would have taken me a 1/2 hour was done in 3 minutes! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Again thanks for everyones help. Honro the toothbar is a great addition.

Nice looking setup you got there! Ain't it great to have a new toy ...er i mean work horse! I wish I had thought of hooks when I got mine. They would have come in handy a few times already. Are the hooks you got welded on or is it something I can order and bolt on myself? I hate the thought of drilling into the bucket, but if thats how its done by others I suppose it would be okay.
Good luck with your new baby!

Hi Moon,

I had the two hooks welded on by the dealer. Don't know if the could be bolted becaust the bucket was also re-enforced under the hooks by welding some metal stock underneath. I wouldn't have thought about hooks either, not to mention the toothbar, but I heard Hondro and Bird recommending them. The toothbar it great. Helped me pop some small trees out yesterday and aids with carrying small trees by giving them a place to ride. Without the teeth there would be noplace for them to rest.

I do love my toy... err work horse. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Hey Frank,
Would you mind taking a close up picture of one of the hooks on your bucket. That way I can show my local welder how your dealer did the reenforcement (sp)? Another pic which shows placement of both hooks would also be appreciated.
Thanks In Advance!

Hi Frank. Congrats on your new tractor. Where in Syracuse are you? I live on Onondaga hill with my wife kids and my B2400,
60in. mmm loader toothbar back blade and 50 in. rear blower.
You cant even think about living up here without a tractor with a snow blower and fel.

Hi Tim, we are North of you up in Lysander, out toward Beaver Lake off of 370. Up to now I have been blowing our 1000' with a Sears Garden tractor that did great, but I got nervous after this Winter with the extreme cold - got stuck too many times. How long have you had yours? How does the blower do with our snow? How's yours in the cold? So you have a block heater? I bought mine at White's, you?

I will get a picture of the hooks soon.

Lol Frank
