Hey I have a B7800 I was looking in the northern tool catalog and they have a air compressor that attaches to the pto. Does anyone have this or have seen it? Is it worth it to get or not? Also has anyone added a light bar to their ROPS. I was thinking a small 3 strobe, LED or Rotator. I 'll need to put in the HD alt. Which I should have done before I bought it,but you live and learn. Thanks.

Where'd you find that compressor? I've been looking in my catalog and can't find it.

There are a lot of us who have added lights to our ROPS you can search the forum and find all sorts of threads about it, different attachement methods, etc. LAGEORGE did an amazing job with strobes on his tractor, but he mounted them all over the tractor with the cleanest custom install I think anyone has ever seen.

As for the HD alternator, needing to upgrade may not be necessary depending on how much you use the extra lights. Even if you exceed your alternator with your current draw, it simply means you are starting to slowly drain your battery, but that may be such a minor issue that spending the money for the alternator is unneeded. It will totally depend on your current draw and usage requirements.

Thanks, Jerry. That's an interesting piece of equipment, but seems a bit expensive to me for the volume of air it puts out, but I could be wrong. I'd sure like to see one in operation, see how the pressure relief valve and regulator work, and things like that.

Yes, I have one and it is very handy in the field. No, it doesn't put out a lot of volume, but it will pump up a tire. If a person wanted pressure to blow out a radiator he could hook it to a small bleeder tank and use it intermitantly. BE SURE TO KEEP IT OILED. There is a small oil port on the shaft and it needs periodic, like everytime you use it, oiling.
I like it because it can be stowed in a toolbox and is there when I need it.
