B7800 with 19 hours High pitched squeaking sound

Anyone have a B7800 HST...I have developed this high pitched sound when moving forward...sounds like that sound when someone takes their fingernails on a chalkboard but continuous...Any comments or suggestions?

I think it is comming from the rear of my tractor but can't tell which side.

Have you checked oil level in transmission? Did you forget to release the parking brake?
With only 19 hours, it may be a good idea to give your dealer a call this morning.

Not sure but I once had a similar issue on my New Holland. On my tractor there was a small linkage on the 3pt hitch that followed the lift arms to control how high they went. In other words it would close the hydraulic valve when the draft control lifted the arms to its limit or if the operator lifted the 3pt lever to the highest point. The adjustment screws on the lever were loose and when the arms reached their limit and could not travel any further, the valve was not being closed and the pump was squeeling. This can ruin your hydraulic pump.

Check to see if the squeeling stops when you change the position on your loader, hoe or 3pt.

Just a thought.

Thanks for input guys....Went to the dealer this morning and he said 9 times out of 10 it's loose lug nuts,....Sure enough....Simple huh.....I did talk with a guy who does the service and he also said something about an adjustment in the 3 point...He'll take a look at it if it persists....For now I did tighten all the lug nuts and they were a bit loose...about a 1/2 turn each one...seems to be much much quieter... Didn't hear any squeak, squeak, squeak Thanks again

I love my B7800...actually we are still in lust...6 months down the road we'll see.....

After worrying about a new HST, dontcha just LOVE simple fixes?

I predict you'll be more in love in 6 months. That is a really pretty machine - everything looks perfectly proportioned IMO.

Here ya go Rus ...You can look....It is a beautiful machine....Worked it hard today all day...got 26 hours and only a week old...of course it was a beautiful day here today....Did alot of rippin, grading, and just givin the trails on my property a good cleanin....Had about 4 inches worth of oak leaves on them.
It's been a few years since I had my old CASE 580 CK that I sold when I shouldn't of....

Never sell a tractor unless you have another one first

I love the lines on that machine. Goldilocks ROPs (not too tall, not too squat), lots of rubber on the ground, big-***** loader that comes off easy as BX, fancy BB with top tilt.

Yessir, I like it. Bet it will look even better a little a scuffed-up.
