The Pronovost (P-540) 54 inch/1371 millimeter
model is what you would need for your B8200 model.

The problem is getting one from the Pronovost folks
in Quebec at this time of year.

Thanks for the response. They sure don't give them away...$3500.
I noticed my manual says 5' blower. Any input on that?

The 520 costs more than the JD LA115 I bought with chains and a belly mower three years ago
but you get what you pay for and that Pronovost snow caster will have a high resale value forever.

Its either sink or swim with these bloody things!!!

You have a mid PTO? I THINK thats how they decide on the HP.

Kubota loves to size the snow blowers like their belly mowers.

If you buy it the only limiting factor is tractor wheel width as the snow caster could
not be used well with a mule that has a greater than 54 inch MAXimum wheel width.

I wish they would offer the solid augers for them GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
The 520 is 550 pounds and the 640 is 575 pounds,

If it were me I would get all the bells and whistles with the 520
if you can afford it and have the dual remotes unless you plan
on buying a bigger mule with three rear remotes in the future.

do you have a cab for your mule??, that would be a non starter
for the manual chute and spout controls.

Hi Leonz...first off I should admit I know very little about tractors. Mines geared. No double clutch.previous owner used a 54" blower rear mounted and claimed no problems blowing snow as long as he raised the pto before pushing in the clutch. Talked to a couple dealers today and they don't want to sell me a blower , saying it will only clog up and piss me off.
Is it possible to run a pto mounted blower with my b8200?

How close are you to Pugwash???

Typical dealer speak because the majority of folks want to run the snow blowers at
race track speed(meaning they want to sell more front mounted blowers because
they make more money).

Find a dealer that is willing to sit down with you and talk as he or she wants a relationship with their customers,
if they wont sit down with you and discuss things at length you don't want their snow blower or service as
all they want is your money.

There is no reason that you could not use the 54 inch Pronovost or other snow caster
as the mule will move at .9 miles per hour in the "lowest gear" which is the only limitation
WHICH IS WHAT you want to clear snow, you may spend a little more time in the seat
but just dress warmly and the work will not stall the tractor as long as you know how
to operate a clutch. Just remember to disconnect the PTO lever when you are done at
the end of the run and repeat the process.

Invest in some radio ear muffs from Gemplers etc. and and just be patient as the low speed
will allow you to clear snow with no issues. some of the folks use motorcycle helmets too.

You need to have the dealer you pick take your mule to their shop and install it as they need to
properly determine the length of the new PTO shaft they need to put on the snow caster.

since this is your first mule you have a learning curve to understand and y7ou need to spend more
time in the seat to to become more familiar with it.

you need seat time that's all.

Do you have rear chains and loaded rear tires???

Sorry to be so long replying Leonz. I answered a few days ago using my phone but it seems to have vanished. I am as we speak waiting for a guy to deliver a 60" Luck Now to me. The unit is like new and $2500 . It doesnt come with the pto shaft but that can't be too hard to come up with.
Thanks for your advice Leonz ,it is much appreciated. Now where the heck is the snow?? Mark
