B8200 steering quit

B8200, 4WD, FEL....Steering sluggish, for a few min. on a cold morning in NW Florida (40 F).
Next day steering worked for a few seconds and then quit.All other hydraulics working fine.
Any ideas appreciated.

Do you have an owner's manual
If not go to Kubotabooks.com and download.

Look at pages 23 & 24 to determine what type of auxiliary hydraulic block you have.

I will try and find a WSM on Sat. Presently the WSM I have for B8200 is in French.

p.s. the dealership owner where I get WSM's was not working today Sat. If I am able to travel to his business next week I am certain I can get an English version

I do have the books for this tractor.
After studying, I thought to try simply changing the fluid and filters (2). Auto parts store/wix, only 100 hrs on them. Replaced with Kubota filters. All is now well.
yay....Wish Kubota would give some hydralic info in the books.

The steering hydraulics were an aftermarket kit that Kubota offered. I had a B8200 about 17 years ago, and discovered I needed hydraulic help shortly after getting the tractor. Luckily, I found a NOS kit at a dealer in Penn., and installed it. Pretty straightforward, so unless it was leaking, it had to be a matter of crud somewhere blocking the fluid. There may have been other aftermarket kits, don't know?
