Back home after 7 months

Hey, I made it back. Seven months in Greece working on the Olympics and not much time to check the forums. I hope to catch up over the next few months.

Got home last Sunday and was on the tractor all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Just a short drive home on it on Friday night. She's in the shop staying warm now with near record lows in Utah and rain. Need to keep her dry and warm.

While in Greece I lived about a block from the Acropolis and visited it a few times. Pretty amazing to see what they built by hand. The restoration is in progress and they have a large CUT on site to haul the stones around. Guess which kind? Much to my dismay (being a Kubota owner) they have a New Holland on site to do the work. I have a few pictures but I need to figure out how to downsize them to post them.

Good to be back and catch up with all the forum news. I see Bird is still posting regularly and many of the others also. Some are missing, but I guess everything changes.

Welcome back! Since we all guessed you were over there as a security consultant, I've gotta say that if that was so, then you all did one heck of a job! It would be interesting to hear some of the background stories, though I suppose you won't be able to say much.

Welcome home I am sure you are glad to see the family and tractor again. Work is work but it must have been a great experience to be part of the Olympics. When it was in Atlanta we enjoyed every minute of it. Hope you will have a chance to share some of your stories.

From my perspective it looked like a great job was done by all.

Welcome home. That had to be a great experience, although I'd hate to be gone from home that long myself. Glad everything went so smoothly over there. Another of the other new things you need to check out is to click on "Photos" at the top of the page, then read the FAQ and Instructions. You'll like it, I'll bet. It's much easier than all the resizing and posting photos one at a time.

Welcome back! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I can't believe the seven months are up already. Seems like yesterday you said you were leaving. It probably felt much longer than yesterday to you, though. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Yeah, the Photo option is relatively new. I think you can have images up to 500 kb with a max space of 5 mb.
