Back in the Saddle Again! (no horses involved...)

Just got back from the final post surgical followup from the work I had done back in February. The bone graft is solid & I am cleared for all activity. Yeah!:dance1:

Been on light duty & gnashing my teeth at work that couldn't get done - no chainsaw - no hooking up implements - no bending/lifting permitted so couldn't even trailer equipment anywhere because chaining up would be "over-doing".

Finally free again! Not sure what gets done first - maybe taking down that Bradford pear that has been bugging me when raising & lowering the ham radio wire antenna...

Congrats on being back in the saddle!! About 6 years ago I managed to twist my ankle and put a hairline fracture in it. I "down" (wearing one of those "walking boots") for a few weeks and it drove me crazy!! One of the worst things things was that all of the older people that I would hold the door for at the post office, grocery, etc. were holding the door for me!

It was my left ankle and I drive a 5 speed Jeep. I would get in the Jeep, take off the boot, drive where I needed to be and put the boot back on. A friend in the medical field referred to me as a non-compliant patient. LOL!
