Field Boss 2-60
Field Boss 2-60 has just started running poorly, it seemed to be back firing back through the exhaust. It will run smoother once started but then begins to idle up and down, The back firing and its diesel engine isn't to loud. almost a popping sound. put some conditioner into fuel tank and so far nothing has fixed it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Maybe an exhaust valve hanging slightly open when fuel detonates, or possibly burnt some..??

Any smoke..??

Or even the possibility of a weak, or broken valve spring on an exhaust valve..?

White, or lighter smoke from a diesel would suggest unburned fuel. Common on startup, but not after it warms up. But then it may have smoked some before. Are you getting more than normal..??

Blew air up into tank, bled the lines and it started, only thing I wonder about is how to replace the glow plug on my white 2-60
