hello- I'm 73...born & 1/2 raised on a farm w/ cattle,lespedesa hay,blackberries,pine timber...we also milked (by hand) & run through a cr鑪e separator & sold cream....dad was born 1891 & raised in indian territory so we didn't have tractors but farmed & worked timber w/ horses & mules...after school was out every year,we/d follow the ol trancient & bologna trail-harvesting peas in texas..pickin cotton & pullin boles all over lower central & western states...mama,daddy,& 12 kids,cept for older ones, in ww2,korean war or married...many happy memories...marridge in high school,several years stint scrimping & saving toward a grubstake for a farm of our own till 1971,then moving back & farming for 55yrs & retiring to a 20 acre " hobby farm" just this year...1st tractor used was a early 50s ferguson...1st one owned- a 47 AC WD...then 73 deutz 4006...a 64 ford...70 massey 235...& lastly, my every day companion @ present-2001 century 3045 w/4wd,century loader, power steering,& the original yanmar engine...before the cummins in same tractor....I'm lookin forward to leaning all I can...I'm not a cranky "know it all" or argumentive....kinda " live & let live" fellow....but over the years,had to pick up some tricks,hillbilly engineering,strong & weak points of models I have owned,along w/ some implements knowledge...proud to belong...& much obliged.....
