I've got a 709 backhoe from the 90's, serial #270002588. Has a leaking cylinder in one of the vertical stabilizers. Someone has cut/welded/trashed one of the ends as well has messing a cap up so badly that a spanner or pipe wrench won't get it off to fix the seals.
Trying to find a replacement cylinder from a source other than Bobcat because a seal kit costed me $50 when I later discovered that it could have been had elsewhere for $10-$17. Does anyone have a part number or know where to get one without ordering a service manual someplace? Yes I know it's a good idea to have one, but I'd like to get the attachment up and running again before a service manual gets here if I order one someplace..
