backhoe attachment seat!?

I have a bradco frame mounted backhoe attachment. The seat has no springs at all and is just on a post.. After using it for a short while my back kills me.. Has anybody upgraded the seat? I am sure much of my issue is operator error while trying to remove small stumps.. I tend to jerk the entire thing around a lot, lifting the tractor off the ground sometimes and jarring it back down..
