I have been working the snot outta my ck20 all weekend and it's great, although there is one thing bugging the crap outta me. When operating the backhoe and pulling hard on stumps, the backhoe "pivots" on the subframe. I tightened the bolts(and they are TIGHT!)but it still does it. When it pivots the seat hits the fuel tank( I removed the triangle and bracket), I called the dealer this A.M. and he told me to weld the braces to the subframe and backhoe frame, and thats what I plan to do. Have any of you others folks had this issue?

My Rhino backhoe/subframe is a similar setup. I had the same issue with the bolts/brackets wanting to move around.
I welded the brackets to the subframe and backhoe frame a fews years back. Problem solved.

I moved my seat position because it was hitting the fuel tank when when I put my 300 lb butt in it. I raised it to the upper holes and forward as far as it would go. Never used the hoe much until I did this. I have not noticed it flexing that badly, but then again, I don't have anything banging around to draw my attention to it since the seat is now about 3 inches from the tank.

I did the same as DK35vince. I welded the braces after squaring up the frame and tightening the bolts. You might also be able to drill and pin the braces, but probably not as strong.
