In the used market obviously, what do you think? Looking through the locals, there are mostly JD's or Case's. Pro's and con's on 310/410 vs 580's? I'd like 4WD but not sure if I really NEED it. I have some immediate projects but then just probably occasional use, so long term ownership would be in play.

goto www. tractorhouse .com then look down the list to ""loader/backhoe" this will take you to tractorhouse sister site. machinetrader.com if memory serves.

if you have a FEL (front loader bucket) and a backhoe. you can pretty much get yourself unstuck and drag the tractor were ever, (within reason)

4x4 would be nice, but if you are in that much slop of mud. you most likely shouldn't be out in the first place.

4x4 can help with FEL and digging with the front bucket. but for me i tend to need to use the backhoe, to break up the first few inches of compacted hard dirt, before i can even think about getting the front bucket.
