Backhoe Backhoe for a Mahindra 2015

I'm picking up a new Mahindra 2015 next week and am trying to decide on a back hoe, the tractor has a Wallenstein GX500 mounted with the subframe mount kit and PTO hyd pump kit, the dealer offered this hoe to me for $4700, looking at the specs the Mahindra 2710 hoe is bigger and has more reach but I'm sure the Wallenstein will do all I ever need.

What's your thoughts on this hoe for this tractor?

It's good that it will be subframe mounted, but it will still technically void the warranty. It sounds like a great hoe, but make sure the dealer will take care of any problems that could arise. The price is very good, especially considering the subframe mount and the PTO pump kit. The 2710 Mahindra hoe is subframe mount but works off the tractor hydraulics. They run fine with that much flow. The 2710 digs 7'10" and has a reach of over 10'. It is a lot of hoe for that size tractor.

When you say "a lot of hoe for that tractor" do you mean it could be "too much" hoe for this tractor?

Also, what are the 2710 hoes selling for?

Is the hoe too much for the tractor? Not with a careful operator, but a rookie will need to idle the tractor down and think about what he is doing a little bit. It isn't a toy like some others out there. The hoe and subframe weighs about 1150 lbs if I remember correctly, but the 2015 is a stout little tractor so it handles it fine. Even so, the 2615 probably is better balanced with the hoe as it weighs roughly 500 lbs more than the 2015 and the weights of the 2710 and the 3710 backhoes are almost identical.
