I am interested in a backhoe for my TC33D. Can anyone tell me about the Woods 6500 or 7500 Backhoe. How easy are they to take on/off and how good do they work? Other backhoe options?

Woods arn't bad, it all depends on what your going to do with it, Bradco is the best in my opinion as far as backhoes go, in my opinion, I would look at the 3265 or 3375, also a candian company Hardy is good if you want an extendahoe which i think is the only company to offer extendahoe. 8' that extends 2 feet if i remember right 8DL ithink is the model. If your going to do any serious digging definatly go with a subframe mount not 3pt mount.

I've seen several Woods 7500 backhoes that were well used and seemed to be holding up fine. The same model is also used on tractors larger than the TC33D, so I would assume it's built tough enough for your application.

One advantage the New Holland backhoes have is that you do not have to remove the lower 3 pt hitch arms to mount it. I'm not sure if this is true of any of the other brands. (The NH 757c is in the same ballpark as a Woods 7500, if I recall)

NOTE: I also own a TC33D. I've been keeping my eyes open for a good used backhoe. I would NOT put a 3 Pt hitch backhoe on this machine. Go with the subframe mount.
