I AM LOOKING FOR THE LARGEST 3PT BACKHOE I CAN INSTALL ON MY 115HP TRACTOR. I BELIEVE THE PTO IS AROUND 100HP. I HAVE A SECOND SET OF HYDRAULIC REMOTES ON THE BACK OF TRACTOR WITH EXRTA CAPACITY PUMP THOUGH I AM NOT SURE OF THE GPM. SO I DO NOT BELIEVE I NEED THE PTO VERSION WITH SELF CONTAINED HYDRAULICS. I HAVE LOOKED AT THE WOODS 1050 BUT WONDERED IF A LARGER MODEL IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE AS I NEED A LONGER REACH. APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS AS I HOPE TOP AVOID PURCHASING A USED BACKHOE AS I ALREADY HAVE A NICE TRACTOR WITH LOADER.

I am not sure of a large 3pt. backhoe, but if you are going to be buying a 3pt. backhoe that big you are already over $10,000 or more. For that kind of money use might as well by a good used full size backhoe and have 2 machines.

Don't know if there is a larger one then the Woods 1050, that is what we purchased 3 years ago to replace our older AC I600 TLB. We like as it can sit against a wall inside out of the way until needed takes about 15 minutes to hookup can hook to either our F5000 or our F6640 and there is no backhoe to maintain any longer. The only downsides are you have took hook it up when needed and I miss the extra 4' of reach we had with the I600. (longer if you purchase an extender hoe) We installed over 2500' of 4" irrigation line thru rocky digging and it has performed well. We are in the process of installing another 1500' of water line with it at this time. I think you will be happy with it.
