Any advice would be appreciated. I have a CK30 HST with the Kioti Backhoe.

To activate the hydraulics for the 'hoe I have to move a little lever beside the seat out of the neutral position to either a forward or backward position (you can't do either, it's forward if the hoses for the hoe are in position A and backward if the hoses are reversed into position B).

I have found that recently when it is forward, it is pretty much impossible to move back into neutral. I had to take the seat off and give the linkage a "tap" with a hammer. The linkage connects to a rod that goes into a hydraulic valve body (sorry, don't know the true names for these parts).

Anyhow, I reversed the hydraulic hoses and now use the lever in the back position staying away from the forward position and it's easier but it still sticks.

Any comments?

I would lubricate the shafts, I be something is sticking where a shaft enters the case of the tractor.

I did that but it did not seem to help much. I'll leave it set a while and see.

Thanks Joel

You are using the single rear remote to power the bh. I had installed both remotes to my CK30hst. Either the linkage is getting a little stiff and in need of lube or the shaft going into the valve body itself is sticking. With the seat off like you did, you can lube the linkage which also has an approximate 3/4 inch collar that rotates on a shaft. You might want to disconnect the linkage from the valve body shaft and move it by hand to see if the valve itself is the problem. It will will be stiff but can be moved by hand. If the valve is sticking, I'd probably take off the two nuts holding it on the tractor case then disasembly would be easier on the workbench. Rubber o-rings are used as seals instead of gaskets. I haven't had to take my valves apart, but there might be something in there getting corroded.

That is a big help Victor. I actually did disengage the linkage and you are spot on, it is the shaft going into the valve body that is sticking. Now I know what to do, although I am due for some warranty work so I may just have the dealer do it.

I appreciate the help, thanks!
