kubota 3130
anyone know anything about a older bobcat backhoe unit got it mounted on my kubota 3130 had to custom build a sub frame for it,trying to figure out which way to do the hydraulics pto pump or run them off the tractor, dont want to bypass the safety switch if i can help it and it kills the tractor if you get out of the seat in gear or pto running.

I've gone through this same dilemma. The best answer I have come up with is a switch wired to the dash that will temporarily bypass the PTO safety when the backhoe is in use. I'd wire it through the the PTO safety vs. the seat safety. I.e. make it think the PTO is not running. This would leave the other safety mechanisms in place (i.e. in gear, etc.)

For me you have to tilt the seat forward... then you can get off the tractor. You have two seconds to tilt it forward before it kills the engine... not 100% sure if your model does this.

That's the way it works on my L3130... just tilt the seat forward.

How many GPM does your tractor implement valve provide?

Do you have room to run the PTO pump with the BH installed, How about the reservoir?

Do you have a way to power the BH from your hyd?

What is the GPM and pressure requirement on the BH?

the pto pump i bought was one off of a old international tractor it had a 3 gal tank i believe it was a farmhand pump and motor ,not sure the gpm the tractor puts out would the tractor have enough cooling for it to be hooked to the hyd on the tractor to run it .the backhoe is probley a little big on the tractor but its heavy duty i got a 12in and 2ft bucket with it already had a thumb to put on it from my last backhoe, the back hoe is set 2ft off the ground for ground clearance set it up so i could put a 4 ft mower deck on the hoe later to do my ditches i cant do now

made the mount as close as possible ,it does good you can get on a grade and turn go up a hill and it still has good balance ,not alot of room for the tank and pump im gussing it puts out 8gpm i had a 700m bobcat skidsteer and this fit on it put out 10 gpm might be slower but for my own use it will work.my kubota book says pump capacity is 8.3gpm not sure at what rpm

They usually state tractor GPM at max rpm.

You should have an 8 gal hyd tank.

If you ran it off the tractor, it should work, and probably have more force.
