My Backhoe ( an LS 2100 on my r4047 ) I believe has flow restricters in the lines making cylinder movement Sssloowww . is there any way to remove the restricters so I can control the cylinder speed with the spools instead of shifting full spool and waiting ?

You should be able to remove any restrictors. It could be a washer type orifice or a fitting drilled out.

As far as the spools giving you the feather depends if the valve was matched to the tractor hyd flow.

Some spools feather real good and others don't.
