I have a 2003 model 4500 with factory backhoe. The dealer hooked the hyd. hoses into the factory installed rear remotes. He made a bracket to lock the rear remote levers in the engaged position. I recently found out this is not the correct hookup.
Does anyone have knowledge of the correct installation.

Like most other Tractor Mfg's TYM does not make there own backhoe for the 4500. Different backhoes may have different set ups. Tieing it in to the remotes is most likely fine. How long have you had it and how many hours have you put on it. About the only difference having it plumbed differently is the oil MIGHT run a little cooler. Flow should be about the same unless you used a PTO pump. If your backhoe is 9ft or less there would be no benefit to using a separate pump. Hope all else is well.

I am assuming your 4500 is 43-45hp and equivalent todays T450.

Chipperman. thanks for the reply.
I purchased the tractor in 2003 and it has 250 hours on it but.the backhoe was only hooked up for about 40 hours. The reason for my concern is that the metal housing above the back hoe control valves gets so hot that I can't touch it. the joy sticks also get uncomfortably hot.
The model is a T 450 with 43 HP

Is it only the backhoe valve housing and joy sticks getting hot? What about the remote valve body on the tractor? Who makes the backhoe? Once you determind the mfg you should give them a call.

chipperman. I don't know it the rear remotes are getting hot I'll check it the next time I use it. All of the cylinders on the backhoe run very hot and two of them are leaking. I already had one repaired about one year ago. None of the other cylinders on the loader or the top and tilt run hot or leak.
The backhoe came with the tractor new and the TYM name was printed on it. It says TYM 800
