Backhoe Backhoe L3600 to L3130

Long time lurker, first time posting!

I have a L 3130 Kubota with front end loader and have been jonesin' for a back hoe attachment. Seems like the consensus here is to avoid a straight three point hitch attachment.

I have found a Woods model 7500 for sale that has a frame attachment and PTO pump. It is currently mounted on a Kubota L3600. How can I find out if this frame support will fit on my model tractor without modification? I really only want it if it will be easy to remove.

The Kubota dealer is happy to sell me a Kubota model for 8500.00 installed, but I am cheap. The asking price on the Woods is 3800.00

The Woods part numbers for the subframe are different for the two tractors. You could possibly do it, but would in all likelihood have to modify the subframe to fit.

Will woods just sell the sub-frame?, or maybe you can find a used one from a used equipment dealer like I did for one of my old machines. Many of the used equipment places take attachments off in an effort to make more profit by selling them separately then some things end up in the scrap pile. I paid 100 dollars for that sub-frame because the guy who purchased the backhoe couldn't use it on his machine.

That is a great idea. I'll call Woods on monday. It the 3800.00 price reasonable?

3800 is a great price as long as it doesn't need hoses or cylinders rebuilt, or the pins are worn out and need new bushings welded in and check the entire hoe frame for evident of cracks and welding repairs. If available, a sub frame mount will add another 1K to the price but that's still cheap.
