Bought a new BX25 and had it delivered on wednesday and cut grass for two hours. The next day I started digging random holes just to get the feel of the BH(only dug up one phone line). This morning i started digging out a hill to make a small road/trail up it. After about an hour of "work" I just happened to glance at the BH and saw hydraulic fluid pouring out. After a lot of cussing and frustration, I realized, I'm pretty sure, that one of the fluid lines was loose. I don't know a whole lot about tractors(just to get that outta the way). I would call it like a "control panel" that all the hoses are screwed into on the BH. What are you supposed to use to tighten those hoses? My wrench won't fit in there unless I remove the hose next to it, but I'm not about to get into all that. The only thing i could figure is like needle nose pliers, but I don't want to start stripping things out with the wrong tools considering it doesn't even have 5 hours on it yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It does take the right tools to do a job and those fittings are close together. Call the dealer and see what he can offer.

That was definitely the answer I was expecting. I tried calling but they closed at noon today and not open sunday. I will call them on monday but then again I don't want to load up the tractor and take it to the dealer, just so they can tighten a nut. Not to mention I am pretty impatient and was super excited about playing with my new toy all day rather than waiting til next weekend...wait thats easter...maybe the following weekend...

I had a similar issue with mine. I was fortunate that I only had to remove one line to get to the one that was loose.

The good news is that since I tightened that one line, I've had no more leaks from that area.

There have been several tales of woe recently, concerning BRAND NEW tractors with 'issues" like this. Loose nuts, stripped bolts, leaks, 'down a quart', and improperly adjusted or assembled parts.

The blame may be placed at a far away plant in Asia- apparently their assembly lines are no different from Detroit in the "good old Days"- but what about closer to home?

Does Dealer Prep mean nothing more than uncrating the machine, and calling the customer? I'd be interested to hear from some of our dealer members about what they do when the CUTs come in.
- And what WE should do, before turning the key on that shiny toy in the driveway!

Had a similar leak with my hydro Block for the loader. Had to remove a line to work on the loose line. Cost me about a dollar to replace the pinched "O" Ring. Should not happen but I have found a few loose lines and several loose bolts in the first year. If I sent back to the dealer on each of the small issues I would have had a lot of down time. Even when under warrenty I find it simpler to fix it myself.

Bottom line is do your own small repairs on the tractor or pay trucking.

Don't look at it as frustrating but rather the fun part of getting to know your tractor.

If you are set on playing with your toy, but not with the BH, you can remove BH and put bypass powerbeyond hose on. this would give you time to play, and geet answers you need. I am sorry to hear about your troubles. I haven't had a need to tighten my BX24 BH hoses to manifold yet. Wish I can offer better advice other then going to a dollar store and pick up the cheap wrenches and grind them down to fit for wiggle room to tighten them up.

Only problem with this is the BX series is assembled in Georgia and then shipped from here, so the problem is closer than you think.

Watch these they are interesting

Tell them that. My BX had a loader line leak and a battery problem in the first couple of months. Both times the dealer sent the tech to me.

I thought BX implements were made in Georgia
