Mount is all done and works great


I have since added braces from the top mounting holes on the backhoe to the top of the backhoe half of the mount so I could remove the 3pt top link. You could keep the top link in place but it gets in the way of the 3pt arms and makes it harder to install. All in all it works great and I'm very happy with the backhoe.

Hey Shutt40,

Just a thought, I noticed in the bottom mount pic that the 2 bolts holding the frame did not look like they had a bit on the last treads. You might want to get a little longer bolt. This could be a week point in your frame. I am no metal worker but it looks good.

Thanks for the photos! It looks good. I'm still in the process of putting my backhoe together. I keep running out of time at night after my day job...

You are correct those were the original bolts that hold the loader frame connectors to the rear mounts. I did get longer bolts before I started using it.

I got my backhoe in the late winter so I had lots of time to work out the mount installation. You may want to go to the Woods web site, they have PDFs of all of their frame mounts. Lots of good ideas on how and where to connect to the tractor. I used a combination of the Woods and Massey mounting locations for the tractor half of my mount.
