I have a '05 L2800 with a Wodds 7500 hoe, my question is I think it would run faster and have more power if run off the tractor hyd system as opposed to the pto pump it has. How do you do it on this machine? My dealer does not know how so he just sells them with pumps.

There is a kit that Kubota sells for the BH hook up. There are two hoses, one comes off the power beyond port on the loader valve and the other comes off the hydraulic block under the r/h step and there is a bracket that is mounted to the axle housing on the upper r/h side where the two hoses will connect to themselves via QD connector when bh is not connected to these hoses. I can't find all the pictures but these should help.

Usually just the opposite is true. PTO pumps typically have more flow than the pumps on CUT's...

Can you post the specs (PSI and GPM) for your tractors implement pump and the PTO pump?

I might be wrong, but from what i've read in these forums, there is more 'flow' and better to use a PTO pump. I can teell you that my ford 1720 runs much faster and easier and less throttle with the PTO pump.Have you checked on the flow per minute rate?
a couple of posts maybe of interest

I am sure some others will weigh in with opinions. I think youll like the Woods backhoe 20 plus years on mine and still going.
