Backhoe Backhoe pices

I am thinking of getting a Backhoe for a Kubota B7500 and only talked to one dealer so far in Mid. N.H. for a price, they say $7,000.00 for a Woods Bh 70 x, installed with a 4point hitch - thumb - and lines to the tractor. That sounds pretty high to me, can I get one much cheaper ? or a used one ? any ideas. ? Thanks for this site and all the info this newbie has gained ! Whitie

I bought a BH80-X for about $350 less than that without the thumb. I just purchased a Bro-tek thumb for mine... it is very well built and nicely finished. I will post pics and a review when I get it installed. I guess my point is that for around the same price you were quoted, you could buy a BH80-X with a Bro-tek thumb... seems like you could get a BH70-X and Bro-tek thumb for quite a bit less than $7000.

From his pricing it appears the 70x including thumb and subframe is around $7,000 but that does not include the install price.

Whitie, The LiTW is a nice Korean backhoe.

They do not offer a frame kit for B7500. I have sold several where the owners have made there own frame attachment or have there local welding shop fabricate them.

We are finishing up a frame kit for a 2007 Kubota L3400 now.

The BH6600 would be a nice match up for your B7500.

When I see a small hoe for $7,000 I always think that's a lot of money and that an entire tractor loader hoe can be bought for less.

If you ever want to try out one of the LITW hoes, you're welcome to try mine. I've been very happy with it.
If you buy a new hoe, you'll see some great deals on used ones. When you're shopping for one, all you'll find is overpriced units that have been used and abused, at least that's been my experience.
