I lost two pins to this date.
found one today.

any suggestions on how to keep them in place --the quick latch
keep getting knock off while am clearing, and I don't know it's missing til it's too late. **** pin $35ea at NH.
so today I replaced the quick latch with a bolt and lock nut is this ok?

My hose for my backhoe keeps getting unplug and I have the tie down straps in place. Is this how it is when clearing??

one more --blew my hose on the loader today --wow that was a loud bang
had to use TSC for parts NH and JD close at 1 pm on Saturdays.
it works fine should I replace with original parts?

It depends on the type of hose you bought. At a minimum it should be a 2-wire hose rated for at least 4000 psi. That is probably better than your original hose which was most likely 1-wire 2500 psi. I would also look to see why the hose blew before the relief blew, unless it was a defective hose to begin with.

I used to lose the bottom pins on the bucket. They got replaced with a bolt and nylon lock nut. Haven't had any trouble since.:D

Sorry Mad I left that part out while clearing some tree branches rub/hit /whack that hose a few times, but I did not notcie any wear so I have to check on relief valve --thanks
am just glad I didn't have a heavy load on it the way the bucket just dropped fluid spraying everywhere with a loud bang.
How can I check to see what hose I have on the backhoe?

BTDT,

the pins am refering to- go into frame (subframe)
I'll take some pictures

Did the hose blow when the quick connect became disconnected?

Instead of using nylon tiewraps on the Quick Connnects - use a hose clamp to prevent them from coming undone. They are much stronger than plastic and are re-usable.

You can always remove the hose and cut it to see what it's made of.

However, it should be written (screened) or molded right into the outside of the hose. If it's not then it's probably cheap generic hose.
