I have read everything I could find in this forum concerning removing backhoe from tractor and getting the rear arms to work. I have tried everything and still no luck.
Maybe someone here can get me "Hooked up"
1925 New Holland-FEL-BH / BH had one line running to pigtail out of FEL,the other into rear remote/
out of manifold diverter valve there is another pigtail hanging that I have never used/valve is turned to 10 o clock
I don't think there has ever been anything hooked to rear by the way the parts for 3pt hookups look.

I have a tractor with an FEL. I took it off and all of a sudden the rear arms would not function. I did alot of head scratching until I remembered I have an owners manual. There was a screw on a manifold that I had to turn. Can't remember if it was 10 o'clock or 2 oclock. Then they worked. Vice a versa when I put the FEL back on.

disconnected BH at rear remote and pigtail hanging from FEL
then nothing plugs back into rear remote ?
do I then connect the pigtail off FEL and Pigtail hanging off manifold diverter(that I have never used) and then turn diverter valve to the 2 o clock position

Turned valve to the 2 o clock position -nothing except FEL quit/
there has to be a way to get rear lift to work and use FEL /
Why is that pigtail hanging from diverter valve if it does not hook up to anything ???

Yeah, you are exactly right, not capable to do that right now, computer down at home and wife bought one of those pad deals, maybe I will get it figured out soon. That pigtail hanging down from diverter valve has to come in to play somehow/why else would it be there ? I'm almost certain tractor was purchased new with BH and FEL .

Yes, and even though your pressure relief valve will protect the pump, it is likely the pressure relief is opening when you start the engine and staying open. That will cause rapid heating/overheating of the oil and put maximum stress on pump seals. It's not something you really want to do for more than a few seconds.

would you believe ?
went back and ck'd connections at QC and I had female connector that required a male connector w/pointed tip instead of ball/ sometimes it is the smallest things !!
Too bad tractors can't talk, or laugh at owners //////

Of course, we all thought it was something simple, but I'd be the 1st to admit that I just didn't have a clue. Glad you are back in business. Sometimes (almost always) it's the simple things that get you.

Look under the seat see if there is a knob there to turn for your 3 point if so open it up.
