Backhoe valve sticking

I have a 3130 with the BH 90 backhoe that was just mounted last week on the tractor. It is hooked up to the rear remote valve. To power the backhoe I have to push the lever and hold it with a bungee or whatever. Anyways, as I am operating the backhoe, all of a sudden sometimes it just sticks. Doesnt allow it to move one direction, but if I move the backhoe lever the other direction, it really doesnt do anything. It makes the noise kind of like when you dont have any implements hooked up to your hydraulics, and you push the lever, kind of works the tractor, that is the sound it makes. To fix this I have to pull the remote lever to the neutral, and then pull it all the way in the other direction. This takes off the pressure. Then I push the lever the other direction all the way forward and then it works just fine. It does this probably 20 times in an hour or so. Just sticks whenever. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know what I have to do to fix this? Thanks

Sounds to me like the linkage that goes from the sticks to the spools may be dry and need lubricating.
