Just curious , I bought a rhino 95c for my dk 45 and was wondering if it's common practice to put the hoe down when parked to take weight off of tractor I heard you should just like the front loader, also should you always have the boom locked when traveling

i drop the implements just for safety. If you got the hoe pinned so it can't drop i think thats fine. extended periods of time i would put it on the ground.

If I'm just moving around the digging site, I don't lock the boom or swing. If travelling further, then I lock them. You'd be surprised at how much it will bounce if you get going somewhere. If I'm done for the day, I either put the bucket on the ground or lock both. If you didn't do either, I bet the bucket would be on the ground by the next morning. Doing either takes the pressure off the hydraulics just like setting your fel bucket down. I never have extended periods of time with the bh on. If I'm done with the job, I take it off.

I do pretty much the same. If I'm using it and stopping work for a while I put the bucket on the ground. When it gets parked I have both locks on, usually put the locks on when I am finished using it and before I travel.

Kinda what I thought , I usually put it on the ground but I wasn't sure if all that weight sitting onrear bearings would effect them
