This is a view out the back of our house. Top of the far ridge is about 25 miles away. Picture was taken last year, hence the snow (though it's snowing pretty good right now!). Can't see it in the photo but the top of the ridge is lined with windmills for power generation. You can imagine how big they are if you can see them unaided from 25 miles
