Well, learned I cant get my new cab out of the garage until I chop off 2 inches from the Berco cab-stupid garage, always have some limitation with the height:mad:. Then the feet that come with the SB60 is way to wide and snags on everything, damaged my hot tub patio. When I hit the hot tub patio I pinch and busted a hydraulic hose and didn't know it until I pulled back into the garage-fluid everywhere. Have to clean up the fluid, replace the hose and add more to tractor.

Have to do something about the SB60 feet but not sure, they are to blocky and wide. I cringe when sliding over my asphalt, sounds like someone scraping their nails on a chalkboard.

Ouch! Got any pics?

That's one reason I still deal with no cab (though I wish a lot). Too tight a space, and I'm not willing to give up the convenient parking space I use for my 2310. A cab just wouldn't fit in there.

At times the old song comes true for all of us...If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all"

Sorry to hear about your recent woes.

Due to the building constraints on my sheep barn, it too is very low and sadly to operate my tractor/bulldozer inside to clean out the sheep manure, I have to remove my ROPS ob both machines. As is, if I don't watch where my head is, or the path I take, I wipe out my light bulbs!

The only suggestion I have regarding the feet issue is asking if they can be removed entirely? I worked at a place that builds 60% of the snow plows in the US and while they came with feet, 90% of the plows out there had them removed entirely. I am not sure if this works for you or not, but thought I would bring it up as a possible solution.

Everything is fixed, hydraulics are back online with a new hose (quite easy to repair). Lost about half gallon of hydraulic fluid.... Cab has been shortened by 4 inches and for the most part can fit in garage with some intervention. Made some adjustments to the snowblower and it helped some but need more tweaking, also looking for better pads to put under the snowblower. I have a welder and Im not afraid top use it.

Put some HDPE plastic on the bottom of the pads. It will never gouge your asphalt...

Make you some pads out of uhmw. Very light weight durablbe plastic type stuff that will wear well and not screw up your drive way. It is good stuff

When I worked in ag manufacturing, we used a bunch of it. We cut it with a water jet ( cutting machine using high pressure water and sand). I can't remember the company we got the raw sheets or uhmw from, but they were out of Kansas city. I did find a company called United States plastics on the web that looks like they may be able to get some pre-cut strips that may do the job for you. I don't know anything aboit the company except what's on the internet. The number to call is (800) 809-4217 to place an order. Their corporate number is (419) 228-2241. Other than, just kind of dig around on the internet. To me USP looked like the best fit for you.

Go in the kitchen and steal your wife's plastic cutting board(OK maybe a better idea to go buy one from Walmart)....may not quite be as strong as UHMW but is way cheaper!
