I'll just narrate this long story.
I bought a Massey Ferguson 1840eh in March. B4 the 1st payment due at 24 hours a rock rolled under it denting cross piece protecting fuel and hydraulic lines. Dealer took to shop on insurance claim and they didn't fix the tractor properly. The cross piece is crooked and metal it attaches to is bent also. They replaced a headlight bezel that is crooked. Installed a bucket leveler rod that is too long now bucket is hard to use. Total mess up! Among lots of other things they didn't fix. They give me the run around for 2 months making excuses and playing dumb. Now they won't call back or fix the tractor. Can I do anything about them like file a dispute with agco?

Were it in Texas I'd suggest small claims court. It is overseen by locals elected by locals and procedure is much the same as you see on judge Judy,Peopls court and hot bench. They alow lawyers but no legal dancing so there's no need for one. $10k max and they deal only in dollars, can't force dealer to repair. Check how Mo handles it.

A couple of thoughts. Sounds like the dealer is not performing to you expectations so why do you want them to do anything? Find a new dealer or a tractor mechanic that will work on it for you.

Also sounds like the Dealer does not appreciate you either. They have every right to refuse service to anyone they choose.

As far as legal action, I would think if the work was paid for by the insurance company, tell them about it. They may choose to go after the dealer or not. Either way good luck.

Is there another MF dealer you could contact?

I don't see how to justify an insurance claim caused by abuse. Be lucky they pounded it kind of straight. Possibly the dealer misspoke about having insurance covering it and is now trying to back out ungracefully.

Possibly the bucket leveler rod can be shortened by the OP.

Why don't you just fix the stuff yourself? It sounds like all easy enough to do.
I'm not trying to be argumentative, but what possible gain is there for you to put all this time into it?

If your insurance covered being hit by a rock, surely it will cover damage done by repair shop.
Notify your insurance co that you are going to have it fixed at a different repair shop.
