I must have upset the big man above or something but the past couple of weeks have been unfortunate while trying to work outside. Its easier to list than go into a huge story.
1.) I was digging a small stump out of the back lower yard and needed a chain out of the chainbox on my gooseneck trailer. I walked over to the trailer and got the chain, turned around and hit my head on the hitch knocking myself out and slicing my head open. I was out maybe 30 seconds or so but when I woke up I was covered in blood. Got cleaned up and wife took me to the hospital for sutures and a CT scan. Had a nice concussion out of that.
2.) The next day I was feeling better so I went out to finish the stump and other things. Just when I was finishing, I blew a hose. $75 later a new hose was put on. Since I was done I decided to powerwash the tractor. I had forgot to put the lid back on after topping of the hydro fluid, so who knows how much crap from powerwashing got in there. (See post).
3.) A couple of days later I was working over by the pond when I slipped up and rolled the tractor on its side. (See post).
4.) Today a dog that lives down the road came buy today and took a chunk out of the rear end of both my and my mothers dog. I think they will be fine, there goes probably another couple of hundred bucks as I may have to take my dog to the vet tommorrow if he does not seem any better. My wife identified the dog and where she lives and paid the owners a visit. I'm glad she did because with a bum leg from the rollover accident and still knocked silly from the trailer incident I would not have been the most reasonable person to have addressed the situation.
The good news, and yes guys there is some good news! Amoung all of this crap going on, I found out the Mrs. is pregnant. That made all of this other stuff seem unimportant. We're so excited!
As Red Green says at the end of the show, "Remember, I'm pulling for ya. We're all in this together!"
