Bagger for rear finishing mower?

I have a 48" Bush Hog rear mower behind me 2210, and wonder if there is a way to connect a bagger that could pick up leaves. I'm trying to get ready for fall and getting tired of raking. I only have about 1/2 acre to do, but been raking it every year. Can't afford much...

I use the leaves to fill in a 6' ditch for mulching - the leaves MUST come off my lawn at least two or three times a year (very wooded area around my house - 9 acres...), so I cannot just mulch them on the lawn, it will kill the grass.

That's easy if you have a side discharge mower deck. You would get a Woods or Trac/Vac system and trailer it behind the mower. For a rear discharge mower, that becomes more complicated. You would need to make a gutter and connect that manifold to a leaf sucker. A blower/fan attachement might make some sense if the gulley you will dump the leaves is on the edge of the property.

Other wise, a separate machine, a different mower deck, a Billy Goat vacuum or a brush sweeper come to mind. Once you get a chute connected to the mower, there's always a vacuum system to grab and chop the grass and leaves. There will be more than leaves, too. Its twigs, nuts, pop bottles, dead newspapers, and other trash that wind up in the system.

It is a side discharge mower. There are hickory nuts, pine straw, etc. but nothing else you mention. Main thing I need to get up are the oak leaves. I'll keep checking.
