Bagger search

I have a Cub Cadet 1220 with a 38" deck. Wonderful tractor, but I would like to add a bagger to it. I have been searching many dealers, auction sites, including EBay and others and have had no success. Any ideas on where to find one? Thanks!

Ok heres the deal, try to follow me on this.

You have to order a 305 bagger which fits the 2000 series 38" & 44" decks. Then you have to order part numbers 703-1400 and 703-1401 which are the mounting brackets that will work with you mower. The brackets that come with the 305 bagger you can just toss. Ill order it for you if you want, but your local Cub dealer get this stuff.

I have contacted our local CC dealer. I explained the situation to them relative to the parts needed to mount the 305/2000 series bagger on the 1220. They looked up the part numbers 703-1400 and 703-1401 and said that it did not appear that they were available anymore.

Are they in fact discontinued parts or can I still get them?

Well they are available, not sure what you dealer is doing and why he can't seem to find these brackets. These numbers to sub, which a lot of cub numbers do so your dealer should be on the lookout for subbing numbers.

Anyway the part numbers are as follows,
703-1400A-0637 (LH bracket)
703-1401A-0637 (RH bracket)

There is no excuse as to why your dealer wouldn't be able to get these for you. If he can't I will be glad to get them and the bagger for you and ship them to you. Let me know if I can help anymore.

Just checked with CC. They have them both in stock. The LH retails for $18.10 and the RH retails for $19.69. I don't know why he wouldn't want to order them fo you. You even did all the work finding the part numbers for him. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
