Mahindra 4110
I asked my Mahindra dealer about baling square bales with my 4110 today using an older NH 273. He said he should pose no problem, especially since I have loaded ag tires. The 4110 pushes the 4000 lb mark to begin with, and with loaded tires and a FEL is pretty hefty for a CUT.

He said he knows of several guys that roll 4x5 bales with a 4110, and they have no problems at all.

My main problem has been getting my sickle bar's breakaway connected properly to my 4110. The arms are about 3 inches shorter than standard, and I have had to modify my sway chain bracket to use for the breakaway bracket, the bracket is at an angle, which means either leave the pin at an angle or make additional modifications. I took a spacer and cut it at an angle, which I hope to be able to use to hold the pin parallel to the mowing machine. It is a 515 Ford, and overall it is solid, but needs a bit of work. Fortunately I located a manual online through the 8N site that has helped a lot. It had not swathboard, so I am fabricating a wooden one with a steel bracket and the the steel broom handle bracket (using an old pitchfork handle for the broom handle portion).

I'm thinking about swapping out the shorter arms on the 4110 for standard arms. It may impact the lift's overall weight capacity a bit, but I don't pick up anything nearly that heave with my lift anyway. I have the FEL and don't need a boom pole. When I'm not mowing I can always swap the arms back if needed. The longer arms will allow me to place the breakaway on the lower lift arm as is called for by the Ford 515 manual.

Keith I don't know if this will work but many of us on the site use Pat's Easy Change, which is a quick attach system for implements that attaches to the end of the lift arms. It adds 2+ inches to the length of the arms and makes hooking up attachments much easier. Might just work for your problem and is much less expensive than a set of arms. Pats is an advertiser here on the forum.

I don't know how the lower arms on my Ford 2120 compare to your Mahindra's, but I had to fab a bracket for the breakaway as mine was missing when I bought it. My bracket is bolted to the lower ROPS/fender bracket with a couple swivels. The breakaway bar barely clears the RR tire, but does. So, it's not attached to the lower arm at all and works just fine. The bracket I made is in line with the eyes on the lower arms, so the pivoting of the mowing machine works fine.
If you need a pic I'll have to wait until I [expletive] attach the mower, always worth an hour or more. Great mower, poor attaching scheme.
