Open station M8540 w/canopy; new to me last June. Lives in the shed.
Late last year operation of the hand throttle began to get balky. Now I can't get much more than 1200 rpm from it, and often can't get the engine to idle back, either. Have tried spraying a stream of WD-40 into the cable housing with no effect. Foot throttle still works OK, except it won't idle back correctly. No apparent debris in linkage.
All suggestions welcomed, along with links to diagrams, exploded views, step-by-step r&r's, etc.
