Ballast Box

Need to purchase a Kubota ballast box here in CT. Anyone know someone with one for sale. I saw someone on the forum had one for sale but I can't get in touch with the user.

Kubota sells them. Were you specifically NOT wanting new?

New or used doesn't matter. I have not gone to the dealer since my 3 dealers near me all gave me prices between $220 - $285 - $311.

FWIW, I made my own counter weight using an old 16 gallon oil drum, bought a cross bar from TSC and bolted the drum to the crossbar. A friend was having an addition put on his house, so he filled the drum with cement when the foundation was poured. I predrilled the side of the drum near the top and put in a turnbuckle and attached it where the top link of the 3ph goes.

Not the prettiest setup, weighs about 300 lbs. and cost around $30.00
