Hey all!

I have a 3-Point Cat 1 Counterweight that I need to unload. The box is made of 1/8 steel and has internal cross bracing. The top-link mount is welded to the back side of the weight, and it’s about 48” tall.

I put about 28 - 60# bags of concrete in it so it weighs right around a ton. While my 3-point can lift it, it’s way more than I need.

A local welding shop built it for me.

I’m looking for $150.

Located in South Central WI.

Text me at 608-574-4197

Thx

Lunk

Wow, 2x2x4 worth of concrete is about 2400lbs so it looks like it is not full to the top. Is the lift arm rod a full 7/8" of good steel?

Yes, it's made with good steel. I paid almost $300 for a local shop to build it, plus the cost of concrete. On my 35hp TYM, it's overkill to the point of rear-axle abuse. It would be awesome for someone looking to do snow removal this winter.

Wow, Lunk! Your front tires probably barely engage the ground! Not safe unless you have something really heavy on the front to counterweight your counterweight!

I bought a Titan ballast box and modified it. Probably weighs about 600 lbs. I've attached a few pics of it and here's a link to a playlist that includes Part 1 of a video on how I modified it. Part 2 is coming soon. A Ballast Box for My Kubota - Part 1 - YouTube

I just use one of my implements like my tiller when I need a counter weight.Saves a lot of time and money. I also have loaded rear tires.
Hope this helps

I almost alway have my heavy duty rear blade on. Either the rear blade or some other implement. I also have 1550# of Rim Guard in the rear tires.
