Although I am still considering a couple of different brands/ models I have recieved prices for 2 different kubotas from my local dealer which on one model is over 4k more than the estimate I received from Barlow's equipment in KY.

Has anyone out there bought from Barlow's? How was the experience? Would appreciate any input/feedback. Wanted to buy from local dealer but the price difference is huge....

Thanks

I recently took delivery of a Kubota B3200 w/FEL and MMM from Barlow's in KY. I worked with Brady Barlow and the whole experience was MUCH better than expected. I also received estimates from my local dealer in NY and Barlow's delivered to my door for $1700 less than my local dealer. I highly recommend Barlow's Equipment. They were very honest and trustworthy people to deal with. Brady also answered my questions with great knowledge and also got back to my EMAILs within hours of sending them. I wouldn't hesitate using them in the future.

Another thing I found very interesting about Barlow's is they required no down payment on the tractor. Brady says they will deliver to my door for me to inspect the unit first. If for some reason I decided not to buy it then no hard feelings and off they go with no out-of-pocket expenses on my part. I found that quite impressive! I'm not sure if he does this with everyone but he told me this after I asked him where to send the down payment too.

Thanks,
Doug

I have bought 2 tractors a grapple and a scraper blade from Barlows and they were all good experiences, My transactions were just as dfeck/Doug described. They do not forget you after the purchase if you have issues either. Great people and I would buy from them again.

My Grand L3540 and my LA 2674 Three Point Snow Blower and my RB3584 Back Blade came from Barlow's. Had two Kubota's before the new Grand L and bought both at one of the three local dealers all within 30 miles of me. Barlow's put all to shame not just with the price difference but with being such gentleman, Brady & Steve could teach our dealers in upstate N.Y. a thing or two.

People have consistently related very positive experiences working with Barlows.

You may want to be aware that the state where you live may come looking for sales tax, especially if you finance the tractor. It seems Kubota has to file a form with the state when financing is involved and some buyers have reported that the states have then came looking for their sales cut tax. Especially likely with so many states short on funds.

I bought a L3240 from Brady this spring. I was going to buy a L3800 from my local dealer but was able to move up to the grand series for about the same money. I had no problems at all and would highly recommend them.

I bought my GL 3240 from them this summer. It was used and I found a few problems with it once I got it home. They sent me the replacement part quickly and at no charge. Everything worked out great.
