I despise the unpleasant chore of ending a pet or animals life for any reason. Even butchering. But what needs to be done, . . . . Needs to be done.:indifferent:
BUT, I think I could change my attitude towards 90% of the perps on IDTV that get "Life" after their atrocious crimes! Some herds need to be culled. What needs to be done, . . . .

Me too. And I'd bleed for my dog, but won't tolerate that.

We had cats to keep the mice at bay and Australian sheppard cross dog. Dog slept inside at night, so coyotes keep cats from over populating. A few years later, we had 3 dogs, all outside, only one tied up. The other two stayed on our property and behaved themselves. The coyotes stop killing cats and very fast we had way too many. We gave a bunch away, got some fixed. It seems the ones that got fixed were the ones that coyotes got. Two years ago, we lost a dog and 4 cats. Never found the cats..

We have one cat and one dog right now, need to get some barn cats to keep mice at bay in shop and around outbuildings.. guess I need to get an outside dog (one that is out all the time) to keep coyotes at bay so I don't have them taking my cats..
