Barn fire spool

Hello all
I am recently starting a project with a b7800 kubota tractor that was involved in a barn fire. My first question is are there seals available for the control spool for the front end loader? I was able to get the rods out but there appears to be a couple of seals down on the bottom were the springs are located. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank Nic

Don't think there are any seals under the caps.

I also have a B7800 and there are 3 control valves for the LA402 loader. You need a ser # off of the loader and parts list. They all 3 have seal kits that you can get.

Number 3 in your example. There are o rings between the spool(s) and body.

there are seals located at each end of the casting usually an o-ring on the cap end they are under the spring and usually in a counter bore or groove in the casting

Under the cap, there usually are no o-rings, The last o-ring close to the bottom of the spool if that particular valve uses o-rings.

Some valves only have a few o-rings, and other valves have quite a few o-rings, so it depends on what the tractor has for a valve.

Maybe only part of the valve got burned.

If the valve did get substantial heat, then all rubber parts should be replaced, and the mono-block valve check for warping.

Thank guys I will get the serial number of the loader and start to piece it back together?

If for some reason you can't get the newest parts list I can give you the kit # from a older parts list, after you get the ser. #. All they have to do is put the old # in and the new one well come up.

before you buy any parts clean and check the bores for scoring if there is any significant scoring replace it, or if the spools don't slide in and out smoothly (no tapping them in or out of the bore)

generally if they do slide in they're straight but to be sure spin them in the bore
