Barn/shop sound system. Wireless speakers? What works and what doesn't

I have an old set of Altec Lansing computer speakers with asub woofer with an old Android phone plugged in. This is in my garage where I have wifi reception.

The Bluetooth speaker is probably the best suggestion for the barn.

I have an old pair of speakers mounted in the trusses with an amp over the workbench and a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the auxiliary input.
All stuff I had laying around other than the Bluetooth adapter which was less than fifteen bucks by the checkout at Walmart one day.
