Basically made my decision L4400... need option help.

Thanks everyone. Have all but made my decision on the L4400. Could use some more help...

What are the following useful for? Am I going to find any of them useful for farming 5 acres, maintaining a MX track, Grading driveways, maintaining grapes and fruit trees.

Draw Bar Clevis
Rear Work Light
Swinging Draw Bar
Auxilliary control Valves
Draft Control Kit
3 Pt Top-n-Tilt

Saw it mentioned a couple of times that the telescoping 3pt hitch is an option on the L4400 but it's not listed as such. Anyway anyone knows that I can make sure I get it.

Is there a quick hitch system that you would recommend for the tractor. Already planning on getting the quick attach for the FEL.

Any other options I should consider?

As you can see below I bought the L4400 HST and I am happy with the machine. I would recommend the triple remote valves and the Top and Tilt. It jacks up the price a bit but it is well worth it. TnT makes rear implements so much easier to use and more versatile, by allowing you to make needed adjustments from the seat. You can ad the TnT cylinders after purchase but the Rear Remote valves are a different story. Rear Work light is a good option. If you will PM me I will send you the part #s for the 3 point extensions. The only thing that I think would make the L4400 a better machine is if the FEL(la703a) had a better rollback angle, but I have used it and it does what its supposed to do.

I know it comes on the 4wd only, but i don't know if it comes on both the hydro and gear.

If you check in L4400DT parts manual listing it shows the telescoping lift arms for that tractor and I don't see why it would not fit on the L4400HST. It would be worth a look.

I think the best attachment one could put on a tractor is the quick attach for attachments.

I switched mine out and then was able to go from, grapple, forks, to various size buckets in a snap. It lets you use skid steer attachments.

Well worth what ever it costs.

Anyone use the quick attach at the three point? why or why not?

I have the 3 point QA on mine because I didnt know when I bought mine that I possibly ordered mine with extendable lift arms on the 3 point hitch. I have ythe cheap HF unit and had to adapt some of my cheap equipment to fit.

The only options you definitely need to add is the QA loader. I also like the HST for the work you're doing. You can add hydraulics later (for the top and tilt). I'm sure you don't really understand top-n-tilt yet but you will, especially if you're building tracks. I added hydraulics because I had an attachment that I needed hydraulics for. I added a 3rd function for the front because I wanted to use a grapple. You might have some use for a 4 N 1 bucket, but probably not a necessity. I like the r4's but that preference and what you'll be using them for. I added work lights after I got it home and a canopy
