Since battery handles must be too expensive to become standard, which style carrier do you prefer? Strap with hooks on the end, strap to a scissor style, or full mechanical scissor? The latter to me seems cumbersome in tight spots at work for extraction from the tray, so leaning to the strap/hook. Can't use my old one cuz most batteries don't have top posts anymore.

I guess it might be one's particular situation. I just lift mine out by hand and carry it in my arms. But I keep the batteries clean without corrosion and wear old crappy shirts or jackets most of the time. I remove the batteries from my 3 tractors (out in shed) and store them on maintainers in my attached garage. My Kubota batteries have their own built in handles which are handy. But I'm retired, don't use the equipment that much and nothing much else that's pressing to do. Auto/truck batteries are on maintainers and don't come out that often. All are the "top" terminal style.
Cheers,
Mike
