Battery dies

After 5 years of service the battery died. Funny thing I was commenting a couple of weeks ago how my battery was doing well going on 5 years of service. That will teach me to say anything about my battery.....Got a new interstate for it. Put it in, and told the wife to come hear the difference starting up. Little did I know, I forgot to tighten the terminals. She just looked at me and said, yup you're right, it is real quiet.

So after tightening up the terminals, I went into the house and said, time for the second act. It started and she said ooooooooh.... rolled her eyes and went back in the house....

The lil boss just doesn't understand, but let the driveway not be cleared of snow and they get antsy.

Like they say, Bill, nothing lasts forever - but 5 years for a tractor battery ain't bad!

Wildbill, my dog isn't impressed with that kind of stuff either.

Yep my battery is waiting for that -10 morning with a 30mph wind and 3 feet of snow before it decides to to leave me swearing.
I should start looking for a new one when I'm on vacation in 2 weeks. 6 years is probably pushing it.

Yeah, I would not hope not......but she does have 7 dogs.

Yep, you are waiting for the sub zero day for positive failure.......nothing more miserable than swapping batteries in bone cold temps.....especially when you smack a knuckle trying to pull the cable off...
