battery light stays on

The last two times I have used my 1610, I noticed that after starting the tractor, the idiot light on the dash for the battery has stayed lit for about 4 to 5 minutes. No problems starting but that light bugs me. Yesterday after I was finished mowing, with the tractor still running and the light off, I pressed the "check" button on the dash that is supposed to light all lights on the dash as a test to see if the lights work. All lights lit up EXCEPT the battery light. Then after I stopped the engine and pressed the "check" button again, ALL the lights lit up. Probably a couple of things. First you need to see if your battery is being charged, then see if you have a loose light bulb.
